Catalina Vista is an historic neighborhood in Central Tucson. The first lots went on sale in November 1940. These lots were originally Tucson’s former polo field and rodeo grounds. Catalina Vista neighborhood is across from Tucson’s oldest five star hotel and resort, The Arizona Inn.
The wide streets are palm tree lined. Two story homes are not allowed so as not to block the mountain views. The community features Tahoe Park. The park is a tranquil circular park with baseball field, play equipment, ramada, park benches nestled under tall trees, a little library box, and historic markers.
The neighborhood is a bicyclist’s paradise close to The Loop. Walk or bike to Banner Hospital, University of Arizona Modern Street Car, Culinary Dropout, Arizona Inn and so many restaurants, pubs and shops at Campbell Ave Shopping, 4th Ave and Downtown.
The hub station for the modern streetcar system is in the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. Capture your piece of Arizona history in this gorgeous neighborhood.
