Tucson Air Show 2010

Here is the current Info on Tucson Air Show 2010

UPDATE: Heritage Flight Conference in town March 4 – 8 2009

No Tucson Air Show for 2009

The website providing information for the Tucson Davis Monthan Air Show is only showing 2 words “Nothing Here”. It isn’t that the site is gone. The site is still there.   The web address is working.   It gives us all hope there will be “Something Here” in the future.

But the only thing showing are those two words “Nothing Here“.

I’ve searched the web for information about air shows in Tucson for 2009. It seems appropriate to say:

Nothing Here

When I wrote about the 2008 Tucson Air Show the DM Air show site was saying the event was every other year and there would be on show in 2008 to look for more information about the 2009 show.

We are all left to guess that this show like many other events has fallen victum to the poor economy.

It is a shame that it has simply disappeared without any information on what happened or if there are any future plans for a Tucson Air Show.   I know from the traffic we get on this site there are a lot of people interested in the Tucson Air Show.

If anyone can find any information about the future of Air Shows in Tucson we would really appreciate a comment pointing us to it.

For now it appears there will be NO Tucson Air Show in 2009 or anytime in the foreseeable future.

  1. I have found the answer to the air show. The air show will now be scheduled for 2010 so that it no longer will be a conflict with the air show at Luke’s AFB. This way they can attract more flying acts that would have normally chosen one base over another. So now Arizona will be having an airshow every year instead of 2 airshows every other year. Hope this information helps. I found this on the azstarnet.com website.
