We have a lot of great holiday events this time of year in Tucson. We might not have all the cold temperatures or the white stuff, (No not desert broom) the other white stuff you form into balls and thow; we do have some very festive holiday events in December.
Four of this year’s events are listed below.
The Fourth Avenue Winter Street Fair
“This nearly 50-year-old, family-friendly tradition brings over 500,000 people to the heart of the Old Pueblo every year. The Fair hosts artists from around the world, decadent food, local entertainment and a lot of fun! The Fair is biannual, taking full advantage of our wonderful Sonoran Dessert climate, with one in the Winter and the other in Spring.”

Enchanted Snowfall La Encantada Mall

The entire family can see snow falling into the beautiful Courtyard every Friday and Saturday evening at 6:00 PM and 6:45 PM from November 24 – December 23. Enjoy live holiday music and complimentary hot chocolate sampling from Blanco Tacos+Tequila. Be sure to come early! No Fee!

Winterhaven Festival of Lights
This is one of the longest running local festivals in the country. The event runs from December 9th 6:00 PM through December 26th 10:00 PM
If you are new to the Tucson area, you will want to experience this festival. Many families it is an annual event, some visit more than once during December.

December Nights Pantano Christian Church
This event is sponsored by a local church. It is a blast for the entire family. It is an annual family fun event for the community.
The dates this year are: Saturday Evenings on the 2nd, 9th & 16th of December. There will be a variety of indoor & outdoor activities for you to enjoy from 5:30-8:30 PM.
